One county, on purpose.
We could cover four counties badly. Instead we work a tight footprint across Bergen County, so a crew is never more than half an hour from a job in progress — and so we already know what is behind the walls before we arrive.
Fifteen towns, one crew.
These are the towns we work in every week. If you are just outside the list, call anyway — the honest answer depends on the job, and we would rather tell you than take work we cannot service properly.

Half an hour from any job on the schedule.
It is not a marketing radius. It is the reason a delivery problem on Tuesday does not cost you Wednesday, and the reason a call at seven in the evening gets a truck rather than an appointment for next week.
Three different building problems inside one county
Bergen County is not one place. The house, the weather and the failure modes change materially between the north-west, the Palisades ridge and the waterfront — and so does what we quote.
North-west Bergen
Ridgewood, Ho-Ho-Kus, Allendale, Upper Saddle River, Saddle River, Franklin Lakes, Glen Rock.
Large lots, mature oak and maple, and a housing stock that is mostly 1900–1950 — center-hall colonials, Tudors and shingle-style houses with steep pitches, deep valleys and slate or cedar originally. The recurring jobs here are slate and cedar restoration, chimney and valley flashing, window sash work, and gutters that were never sized for the roof above them. Heavy leaf load in November makes gutter guards a real conversation rather than an upsell.
The Palisades ridge
Alpine, Tenafly, Cresskill, Demarest, Closter, Englewood Cliffs, Old Tappan.
A wider mix: pre-war colonials alongside substantial post-1990 custom houses with complex roof geometry, multiple dormers and a great deal of flashing. Complexity rather than age is the driver here — more valleys, more penetrations, more transitions, and therefore more places to get the detail wrong. Copper work, standing seam and low-slope tie-ins on rear extensions are common.
The waterfront
Edgewater, Fort Lee and Hoboken.
Newer construction, much of it multi-family or attached, and a completely different exposure. Wind comes off the Hudson with nothing to slow it, so uplift on roof edges and ridge caps is a real and recurring problem, and sealant-dependent details fail faster here than they do inland. Low-slope membrane roofs and balcony and terrace waterproofing make up much more of the work in Edgewater, Fort Lee and Hoboken than they do eight miles north.
Not sure about your town? Just ask.
We regularly work in neighboring towns for larger projects, and we will happily tell you when a job is better served by someone closer. A contractor who is an hour away in traffic is a contractor whose crew leaves your site at three to beat it.
Response radius
The full fifteen-town footprint, 24 hours a day, year-round. After a county-wide event we triage by severity rather than by call order.
Normal hours
Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm on site. Estimates and site visits are scheduled inside those hours, including early mornings before work.
What we take on
Single-family residential across the whole footprint, plus small multi-family and mixed-use on the waterfront.
Give us the address and we will tell you what we already know about it.
Free site visit and a written estimate with photographs, anywhere in the footprint.
