We do not run a two-hour in-home presentation, and we do not have a price that expires at midnight.
We call you back
Within one business day, and usually the same day. A few questions on the phone save everyone a wasted visit.
We come and look
Usually thirty to sixty minutes. We get on the roof or into the attic where it is safe to and photograph what we find.
You get it in writing
A line-by-line scope with named materials, quantities, exclusions and the photographs attached. Normally within a couple of days.
You decide, in your own time
Ask us questions, get a second quote, or do nothing. We will not chase you, and the price does not change if you take a fortnight.
Helpful, but not required.
Especially for leaks and stains, where the timing tells us more than the photograph does.
Photographs
The stain, the elevation it is on, and anything you can see from the ground. Phone pictures are fine.
When it happens
Every rain, only in driving rain, only after snow, or only in spring. Each of those points at a different cause.
Previous work
Roughly when the roof or windows were last done, and by whom if you know. Any paperwork you still have.
The house itself
Roughly when it was built, and whether the attic is accessible. Both change what we look at first.
